About My Era

FAQs
  • My Era is a coaching and personal development company that helps women navigating major life transitions rediscover who they are. Rather than focusing on productivity or goal-setting, My Era starts with identity — helping women recognize who they've become before deciding what's next.

  • My Era focuses on identity before strategy, not productivity or goal-setting. Most coaching asks "what do you want to achieve?" My Era first asks "who are you now?" — because the right goals only become clear once a woman understands who she's become.

  • The My Era Movement  is the company's signature coaching framework, built around distinct stages that move a woman from confusion to clarity. The first stage, Recognize, helps women understand where they actually are today — through tools like an identity audit, life inventory, values discovery, and energy audit — before any future planning begins.

  • My Era's movements draw on established frameworks in identity psychology and adult development, applied in a practical, structured way rather than through generic affirmations or manifestation language. The goal is thoughtful, executive-level self-work — not hustle culture or toxic positivity.

  • No, My Era is not therapy and is designed to complement it, not replace it. My Era is identity coaching — a forward-facing, practical process for women who are stable and functioning but feel disconnected from who they are. Women working with a therapist can do both simultaneously.

Is My Era right for me?

  • My Era is for high-achieving women going through significant life transitions, such as empty nesting, divorce, career disruption, burnout, new motherhood, or a broader midlife identity shift. Clients tend to be introspective, financially stable, and already invested in their own growth — they're not looking for hype, they're looking for clarity.

  • No, most women start without a clear goal, and that's the point of the first phase of the process. My Era's approach begins with self-recognition rather than goal-setting, so clarity about what's next emerges naturally once a woman understands where she stands today.

  • My Era supports women navigating transitions such as divorce, an empty nest, career change, burnout, caregiving, new motherhood, or a broader identity shift—even when the transition simply feels like the life that once fit no longer does.

  • The core program — 12 sessions spanning the Recognize, Clarify, and Design Movements — is $2,500. After completing these three Movements, participants can choose to continue coaching on a schedule that fits their season of life.

  • Yes, My Era offers a $300 referral discount for new clients referred by a current or past participant. Ask your referrer to introduce us before you book your first conversation.

  • The first step is typically an introductory conversation to see whether My Era is the right fit for where you are right now. From there, women are guided into the coaching format and My Era Movements, designed to meet you where you're at.
